Ginger Yaeger, RN, serves as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Muleshoe Area Medical Center with management and clinical responsibility for the acute inpatient care unit, the swing bed program and the emergency department.
A Texas native, Ginger joined MAMC after a seven year stint as a RN/Charge Nurse at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital, Lubbock, Texas. During this period, she also worked in a similar capacity at University Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas.
Following her graduation from the Nursing Program at Amarillo College, Amarillo, Texas, Ginger worked for Bluebonnet Home Health & Hospice, Friona, Texas, and Parmer Medical Center, Friona, Texas, both affiliated with Preferred. Ginger is a founding member of “Operation Screen Your Athlete,” a non-profit organization that provides free cardiac screening for young athletes. Yaeger also maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) therapy.
